We clearly label products containing any of the 14 major allergens: gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphur dioxide, lupin, and molluscs.
Some E numbers are linked to allergens (e.g. E220–E228 sulphites, E322 lecithins from soya/egg, E1105 lysozyme from egg). When we list ingredients and allergens, we take these into account so that allergen information is complete.
Ingredients like E120 (cochineal/carmine, from insects) are not in the 14 major allergens, but some people prefer to avoid them. Check the ingredients on each product if this applies to you.
